Learn a series of postures (asana) to increase flexibility, strength, endurance, poise, and balance in this 6-week series. Emphasis will be placed on teaching deep, relaxing breathing to increase respiration, build focus and improve concentration. Particular attention will be paid to alignment. No previous yoga practice is required. Modifications will be offered, but students must be able to transition from standing to the floor and back to standing unassisted.
