Come explore Janesville parks with Dr. Nancy Zolidis to discover the history of geologic events that took place over the past hundreds of millions of years in southern Wisconsin. Find out how the landscape was uniquely shaped by changing climates, ancient seas, glaciers, and water’s erosive power. How has each landscape led to the adaptation of local habitats? We’ll use maps, field observations at three parks, rocks, soils and flora to answer our questions.
