Did you know there was a planetarium and museum of natural history in our very own neck of the woods? Join us for an evening visit to our main campus, UW-Stevens Point. Enjoy a brief lecture highlighting visible constellations in the night sky by Astronomy Professor, Dr. Sebastian Zamfir. Then journey through the Milky Way and the galaxies beyond to explore the universe of galaxies in which we live via the Planetarium show, “Galaxies”. After, take a short walk through the UWSP’s Museum of Natural History. Pat Zellmer will discuss the fossil exhibits closing our evening with an insightful paleontology lecture. Trip includes to-go dinner, round-trip bus transportation from UW-Marshfield/Wood County and admission.
