Lincoln: People and Places in his Early Life image

Dr. Tom Woods, Executive Director Emeritus at Hawaiian Mission Houses Historic Site and Archives, former director of Old World Wisconsin, and head of the Minnesota Historical Society’s Historic Sites Department, brings his thirty years of experience in living history museums and “making sense of place” to UW Colleges’ educational travel program. Dr. Woods’ joins us on his first C.E. tour to Illinois to explore Abraham Lincoln’s early years in New Salem, Springfield, and his log cabin boyhood near Lerna.  Join UW-Colleges and Tom for a two-night, three-day trip filled with the history, the stories and song, and the childhood of our 16th President.
