On Saturday, September 29, 2018, join UW Colleges for another soon-to-be hit musical in its Pre-Broadway run, TOOTSIE, based on the 1982 film. We have secured seats at Chicago’s Cadillac Palace before it heads to the Great White Way.

Tootsie is directed by Scott Ellis (She Loves Me, Elephant Man) and features a new score by David Yazbek (The Band's Visit and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), a book by Robert Horn, and choreography by Denis Jones.

Tootsie is about a struggling actor who disguises himself as a woman to secure a role on a soap opera, which leads to romantic and hysterical complications. The film featured Dustin Hoffman. Broadway actor Santino Fontana — the voice of Prince Hans in the animated movie Frozen and recent star in Act One at Lincoln Center will take on the Hoffman role.

The $269 trip package includes premium seats, lunch at Macy’s Walnut Room, and Coach USA (a.k.a. our University on Wheels).
