Led by Travel Coordinator, Vic Passante

Our nation’s capital attracts over 15 million visitors each year…and for good reason. Our Continuing Education is happy to add to that number in 2018 with our group of life-long learners. You will travel on a comfortable coach bus and have the convenience of easy and safe transportation for our entire visit. During the day, you’ll tour the U.S. Capital, the Library of Congress. In the evening, we will take a tour of the Ford’s Theater and the Kennedy Center, and visit the monuments in all their glory, illuminated for their citizens and fans.

Continuing Education is very excited about traveling to Washington D.C. with history professor Dr. Tim Thering. Tim will offer three credits to university students and heighten our experience in the nation's capital. The blended group of university students and life-long learners will visit Smithsonian Museums, the National Zoo (with a behind-the-scenes tour to visit Giant Pandas), view In the Heights at the Kennedy Center and an optional play at Ford's Theater, visit Arlington Cemetary, monuments, and more. The tour includes professional D.C. step-on guides, ten meals, and five nights at The Westin in Crystal City, and Coach USA (a.k.a. Our "University on Wheels" from Waukesha.
