The rolling hills of the Wisconsin River Valley is home to one of our country’s premier
theaters, American Players Theater. Located just outside of Spring Green, Wisconsin, APT first produced A Midsummer Night’s Dream in 1980 and has reprised their success 10 times. They’ve chosen to inaugurate their new stage with this fantasy. Come along with retired English teacher and Shakespeareophile Karin Sundelius to this matinee of Shakespeare’s mystical fairy tale set in the Forest of Arden where magic, mayhem and mistaken identities abound. The day trip also includes a tour of APT, a workshop with an artist, and a picnic lunch.
