The Philosophy and Psychology of Atheism

Course Detail

The Philosophy and Psychology of Atheism image

Throughout the history of humanity, gods have played a key role plugging in the gaps of our understanding about nature and our place in the universe.  We have also relied on God for the basis of our morality. The question addressed in this course is this: in our modern society, is God imaginary and Atheism a better choice? Atheism is one of the least understood life choices in the United States.  This course will dispel the myths associated with Atheism and dive into the roots of its philosophy and psychology. You will examine the evidence for the existence of the Judeo-Christian God.  You will also examine the issue of whether there is a conflict between believing in God and science.  All beliefs and philosophies are welcome to join this open discussion.

PRE-REGISTRATION: By choosing to pre-register for this course, you are committing to paying the course fee of $134.00. If we receive enough students to run the course, students will then be invoiced for the course fee.
