Call us opportunists! We don’t care.
UW Colleges Southeast Region takes every opportunity to bring you to the best of Broadway. Often, it’s to an award-winning musical which is “on the road,” but sometimes it’s to a show before it makes it to Broadway.
On Saturday, March 31, we’re cashing in on the opportunity to see the new musical Pretty Woman in its Pre-Broadway run in Chicago. And we are very excited about that opportunity. Pretty Woman with music by Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance, whose Reckless album featuring classics like “Summer of ‘69” was released close to the same time as the popular Julia Roberts’ film Pretty Woman. The book for the musical is written by the recently deceased Garry Marshall, who directed the classic 1990 romantic comedy.
Yes. We are opportunists. We are near Chicago. We have a lively group of theater enthusiasts. We are YOUR connection to great theater. We are taking this opportunity and bringing a group to see this show at a ticket price anyone can afford.
The $269 package is the price audiences will pay for a Broadway ticket, but our package includes Orchestra seating, a fantastic lunch at The Italian Village, and transportation with host, retired drama director Vic Passante, on our Coach USA, a.k.a. our university on wheels.
Take advantage of the opportunity and join your travel friends on this unique Chicago daytrip. Register today!
