Geri Chesner, PhD

Geri Chesner has been an educator for almost 30 years, teaching students of all ages and life stages, from the very young to senior citizen. She has a PhD in urban education and curriculum and instruction with a focus on visual literacy and learning. She engages in everyday creative experiences and more formal art making, particularly that of mixed media artwork and writing. As a creativity educator and coach, she guides and encourages active learning experiences that increase people’s ability to recognize and listen to their inner voice and fulfill their life desires through creative activity. It is her passion to engage people in using their innate creativity in their daily lives, both in personal and professional capacities. All people are creative and her goal is to inspire its daily practice in all we do so that we can live happier, healthier and more productive lives.
